Free chips in Brighton [IKEA]

IKEA are giving away free chips this weekend (9 & 10 Aug 2025) in Brighton.

IKEA will introduce a ‘chip theft insurance kiosk’ on the seafront on Saturday, August 9 and Sunday, August 10. This will distribute free portions of chips to people who have had theirs stolen by seagulls in the past.

The giveaway of chips comes ahead of the opening of the new IKEA store in Churchill Square on Thursday, August 14.

🍟 To get a free portion of chips, people will need to head to the kiosk near Brighton i360, sign the ‘chip theft insurance form,’ and register for IKEA Family, a free membership programme offering exclusive rewards.
