Free Electricity On Sundays In December & Xmas [EDF]

Existing EDF customers can join their December challenge to get some free electricity on Sundays in December and on Christmas Day.

Sign up to December’s challenge between 25 November and 1 December 2024, and you’ll automatically get eight free hours of electricity on Wednesday, 25 December between 8am-4pm.

This is on-top of the normal Sunday Saver challenge savings you can make this December. Shift your usage away from peak weekday hours and you could earn up to 16 hours free electricity on Sundays in December too!

Everyone who signs up to the challenge will get a target to shift some of their electricity usage away from peak hours (usually 4pm to 7pm).(1). The more you shift during the week, the more free electricity you can earn. For example, if you shift 40% of your peak usage, you can earn up to 16 free hours to use the next Sunday.
To join, visit Energy Hub in your MyAccount monthly and sign up for the challenge. If you miss the sign-up deadline, don’t worry; we can send you an alert when the next challenge sign-up period opens. Request a Sunday Saver reminder. To join, make sure you have a smart meter that sends readings every 30 minutes or set it up for 30-minute reads.
