T-Mobile Starlink – Anyone on any carrier can sign up now to join the beta test and get satellite-powered messaging-at no extra cost until July.
The T-Mobile Starlink beta allows you to be among the first to experience satellite-to-mobile connectivity for free. By joining, you’ll help us shape the future of this service by testing it and providing valuable feedback.
T-Mobile Starlink beta will begin with text-only messaging through your phone’s native messaging app. This means you can send and receive standard text-based messages, including texts to 911. In the future, T-Mobile Starlink will also include picture messaging, data services and voice calling
The free beta will continue until T-Mobile Starlink launches in July of this year.
Do I need a specific phone for T-Mobile Starlink?
Most smartphones from the last four years will work with T-Mobile Starlink.
Satellite networks work differently from traditional cellular networks, so to ensure the best possible experience, smartphones need to be satellite optimized. We’re collaborating with our handset partners to optimize as many smartphones as possible, starting with newer devices.
These devices will work with T-Mobile Starlink (this list will be updated regularly):
- Apple iPhone 14 and later (including Plus, Pro & Pro Max)
- Google Pixel 9 (including Pro, Pro Fold, & Pro XL)
- Motorola 2024 and later (including razr, razr+, edge and g series)
- Samsung Galaxy A14, A15, A16, A35, A53, A54
- Samsung Galaxy S21 and later (including Plus, Ultra and Fan Edition)
- Samsung Galaxy X Cover6 Pro
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 and later
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and later
- REVVL 7 (including Pro)
NOTE: Phone needs to be on the latest software to use T-Mobile Starlink.
How much will it cost?
The beta is free for all. When T-Mobile Starlink launches in July, it will be included FREE on our best plan – Go5G Next – and available on other plans for $15/month.
Until March 1st, T-Mobile beta testers not on Go5G Next can secure an Early Adopter Discount of $5 off per month, reducing the monthly cost to just $10/month.
Verizon, AT&T and other customers can get T-Mobile Starlink without switching to T-Mobile for $20/month after the beta ends in July.
